Gratitude
"I am deeply honored and grateful to have studied with many elders and lineages, whose wisdom and knowledge cannot be expressed through words alone. With a sincere humbleness, I wish to recognize and thank the treaty 7 land on which I practice and reside. I am a 4th generation settler of Scottish. English, German, and Chekslovakian descent in the unicorn lineage, I have worked extensively with the plant spirits, with and to the animal guides of Jaguar, and the Winged ones.
I am grateful for the wisdom of the Dene, Metis, Mi'gma, Blackfoot, Deer tribe, Kahuna, and the Q'uero. Nikki Manzie, Emile Gautreau, Louise Goodwin, and many other unofficial mentors and elders outside of these lineages. I have the honor of being a Mesa carrier in the Q'uero tradition and completed my first sweat in the dene/migma traditions on the east coast in the fall of 2019. I was gifted the opportunity to be the first to questor to sit on land located in Pugwash that has now been preserved by the Natures Conservancy of Canada and dedicated for use in future ceremonies and sweats. It is during this initiation that I received my invitation to winged ones, to owl medicine and my initiation to medicine women.
I have been blessed with the invitation to participate in many indigenous ceremonies, funerals, and sweats. With each session, I bring the intention of ceremony and ritual.
I am a seeker. Masicho, Terima Kasih, Thank You."
